Chéron came to California 17 years ago from Guadalajara, Mexico. While growing up, his role model was "Tintan." Tintan is a movie character played by the Mexican actor, German Valdez, who sang and danced. Chéron enjoyed watching all his movies and admired his style of dancing and being dressed like "Pachuco."
After arriving in the U.S., Chéron began practicing ballroom dance and other styles as well. As is the case with many male dancers, leading was very difficult at first. Eight years ago, he became more interested in the Salsa rhythm, attracted to its elegant style and unlimited patterns.
Back in 2001 he danced for RicaSalsa -- the husband and wife salsa team of Ricardo and Sara. Being a part of RicaSalsa helped him improve his salsa dancing skills and build his confidence. He liked the feel of a family-oriented environment that they had created.
Now he is entering the world of belly dancing with his real family -- his wife,
Mandella, his step-son's mother-in-law, and 2 of his step-daughter's
best friends.
We know you will all love the Latin Magic that Chéron brings to the Egyptsies
family. |
